Kingdom and Sparrow are a branding agency that create and develop food, drink and lifestyle brands that innovate and inspire. They work with fantastic companies across the globe to help them to launch, grow and fulfil their potential. ‘Branding, done differently…’
And ‘done differently’ doesn’t just apply to their design practice, it’s how they approach all aspects of the business. Including how they recruit, nurture and inspire their talented creative team. This was evident when directors Danny, Johnny and Sophie reached out to the Francli studio with an exciting idea for their 2018 studio Christmas presents. Their vision was to create a unique pack for each team member, inspired by their character and tailored to their personal interests. By secretly compiling a small bio of each person, they handed over a brief for x9 bags.
x8 rucksacks and x1 holdall, each one with customised design features and a personalised colour-way. A great show of employer gratitude and generosity, planning months in advance to do something truly special for the dedicated people who work passionately for their studio. It was a pleasure to build these purpose-led rucksacks for such purpose driven people.

A key sentence in the brief for this pack was ‘bold, bright and colourful’. The conclusion - one of the most vibrant Francli packs to date. A playful and lightweight work bag between cities and airports for a freelance designer and frequent overseas traveller.

As Chris is already a proud owner of a Francli Kit Rucksack, this new holdall design was developed especially for him as an addition to his carry collection.
